BBC Cuts 100+ News Jobs and Closes Three Channels to Save £500M

The BBC announced it will close BBC Three, BBC Scotland and BBC Radio 4 Extra in spring 2027 and cut over 100 BBC News roles as part of a plan to save £500 million by 2028.
